About the Role Lead the operations of a high-impact manufacturing facility producing advanced power electronics products including Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), UPS systems, and related technologies. As the Power Electronics Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the plant, driving results across safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and employee engagement. You will lead a cross-functional team spanning manufacturing, engineering, quality, planning, and maintenance while building a culture focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a proven operations leader who thrives in complex, engineered manufacturing environments and is motivated by driving performance, developing teams, and leading transformation.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in manufacturing operations, plant management, or production leadership
  • Strong background in industrial or electrical equipment manufacturing environments
  • Demonstrated success driving improvements in: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost performance
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a complex production environment
  • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Power electronics manufacturing
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), UPS systems, inverters, or converters
  • Familiarity with Engineered-to-order (ETO) or configure-to-order (CTO) manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with Testing, validation, and regulatory requirements for electrical equipment
  • Background in Industrial, energy, or electrical equipment sectors

Responsibilities

  • Lead all plant operations to achieve business targets across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity
  • Ensure execution of production schedules including assembly, integration, testing, and shipment of power electronics systems
  • Drive plant performance through KPIs, dashboards, and structured accountability processes
  • Align production, engineering, and support functions to deliver results efficiently and on time
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on lean manufacturing and operational excellence
  • Improve efficiency across manpower, materials, machines, and processes
  • Lead initiatives to improve throughput, reduce costs, and enhance quality
  • Balance short-term operational execution with long-term strategy
  • Lead, coach, and develop plant leadership team and workforce
  • Drive engagement, accountability, and performance across all levels
  • Build leadership bench strength and succession plans
  • Foster a collaborative, safety-first, and continuous improvement culture
  • Partner with engineering, supply chain, quality, and corporate leadership teams
  • Strengthen alignment across business units to ensure customer commitments are met
  • Act as the operational leader representing the plant in strategic initiatives
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through on-time delivery and product quality
  • Own plant-level financial performance and cost management
  • Deliver measurable improvements in cost, delivery, and operational efficiency
