This role is responsible for repairs and/or replacement of three phase power distribution components up to 15,000 volts (medium voltage electricity), PLC hardware, and cabling. Under general supervision, performs preventive/predictive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairing a variety of electronic and/or electrical equipment relative to their assigned location. Performs function testing to verify equipment readiness after maintenance. Must be proficient in understanding/interpreting electronic and/or electrical schematics/drawings/prints. Performs work within a variety of Halliburton specific software and hardware. Assist with rig up/rig down of electric frac equipment including making electrical connections (which includes heavy lifting of electrical cables), provides "ready-to-operate" job status to job site supervisor and suspends site operation if safe operation cannot be assured. Ensures adherence, accurate input, and maintenance of data into Halliburton's system of record. Performs own work and assists others as directed. Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in an electrical field or oilfield operations are required.
  • Must possess advanced computer literacy.
  • Must have a current and valid driver's license and a clean motor record.

Nice To Haves

  • A Technical Certification is preferred.
  • Compenent level troubleshooting, schematics, electrical theory skills preferred.
  • Previous experience is preferred.
