About The Position

Kirby Risk delivers innovative power control and automation solutions that help customers improve reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize system performance. In this role, you’ll manage and configure power control projects from quotation through final billing, ensuring technical accuracy, on-time delivery, and customer service excellence. You will interpret customer-provided documentation (electrical drawings, one-line drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications) to build accurate proposals that meet project requirements. You will configure and manage power control projects using vendor tools such as Rockwell Power Control Builder, PowerOne, SAP, Eclipse, and related systems. You will collaborate closely with Account Managers regarding bids, open orders, order status, and customer communication. You will serve as a technical resource with knowledge of power control systems, vendor products, and basic communication networks. You will build and maintain strong working relationships across Kirby Risk departments, business units, and vendor partners. You will monitor job queues, open order reports, and project progress to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met. You will provide backup support for other Power Product Specialists as needed. You will represent Kirby Risk with professionalism in every customer and vendor interaction.

Requirements

  • College-level coursework or 4+ years of relevant electrical or power control experience
  • 3+ years of electrical product or power control sales experience
  • Strong knowledge of electrical products, control systems, and their applications
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency
  • Continuous learner and collaborative team player
  • Must have legal status that enables you to work in the U.S. We cannot obtain sponsorship.
