About The Position

This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards for Finance and Operations. The developer will be responsible for optimizing SQL queries, building reporting solutions for various financial and operational areas, and ensuring data accuracy. The position also involves enhancing existing reporting processes through automation, implementing business workflows, and integrating data from multiple enterprise platforms. Collaboration with business SMEs to translate requirements into technical solutions and participation in the full software development lifecycle, including UAT and post-implementation support, are key aspects of this role. Additionally, the developer will prepare technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Microsoft Power BI development.
• Proficiency in SQL development, query tuning, and data analysis.
• Experience in data modeling, Power Query, and DAX.
• Knowledge of reporting automation and business process improvement.
• Experience working with enterprise data platforms and multiple data sources.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to gather and document business requirements effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to Accounts Payable, Inventory Management, Capital Reporting, and Operational Reporting processes.
• Experience with PeopleSoft, Infor LN, Databricks, Hadoop, MES, and SharePoint.
• Understanding of workflow automation and document management processes.
• Experience supporting UAT, deployment, and business process transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for Finance and Operations.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries and report datasets.
• Build and optimize reporting solutions for Inventory, Sales, COGS, Accounts Payable (AP), Open Receipts, Floor Stock, WIP, Capital Reporting, and Weekly Operational Tracking.
• Validate business rules and ensure data accuracy across reporting solutions.
• Enhance existing reporting processes by reducing manual effort and improving automation.
• Implement business workflows, alerts, notifications, and exception monitoring mechanisms.
• Support automation initiatives including Vendor Statement & Invoice Management and other document-driven processes.
• Integrate data from multiple enterprise platforms such as PeopleSoft, Infor LN, Databricks/Hadoop, MES, SharePoint, and other approved sources.
• Work closely with business SMEs to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct data analysis and support KPI definition, validation, and reporting optimization activities.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Prepare technical documentation and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to end users and support teams.
