About The Position

The role involves designing and developing 6 to 10 dashboards using various data sources. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior SharePoint Developer and report directly to me.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Power BI development, including dashboard and report design.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data management best practices.
• Proficiency in DAX and Power Query.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective team and stakeholder interaction.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with SharePoint and its integration with Power BI.
• Experience with other BI tools and data analysis platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designing and Developing BI Reports and Dashboards: Understand business requirements and create effective data models. Develop visualizations that provide actionable insights. Create and maintain dashboards and reports with user-friendly interfaces.
• Data Management: Manage data sets, ensuring accuracy and readiness for analysis. Perform ETL processes as needed. Implement data governance practices to ensure data quality.
• Collaborating with Stakeholders: Work with business analysts, project managers, and data scientists to identify data needs. Translate business requirements into technical specifications. Facilitate communication between stakeholders to align on project goals.
• Ensuring Data Accuracy: Validate and verify data accuracy in dashboards and reports. Implement quality checks and address data discrepancies. Regularly update reports to ensure they reflect accurate and timely information.
