About The Position
MAT Industries Inc. is seeking a Powder Paint Operator to join their team. This role involves setting up and operating Nordson Powder Paint Equipment, maintaining paint booths and washers, and verifying quality using measuring devices. The operator will also communicate with the Group Leader regarding production and quality goals, train new employees, and be available for shift changes and overtime as needed. Responsibilities also include maintaining washer concentration levels.

- Must be able to use various gauges

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Nordson Powder Paint Equipment
- Keep paint booths and washers in proper condition, including cleaning and maintenance
- Verify quality by using various types of measuring devices
- Communicate with Group Leader regarding issues impacting Paint Rooms ability to meet quality and production goals
- Train new paint room employees and provide ongoing training for others
- Available to go to 2nd shift in peek demand situations
- Available to work overtime with short notice
- Maintain washers to proper PH and concentration levels
