Requirements

  • High school level education or equivalent specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job.
  • MUST have 1 year of Powder Coat Experience.
  • Strong communication skills; must be able to explain tasks to team members.

Responsibilities

  • Assist supervisor with production activity(s) such as powder coating, custom paint, chemical bath, application processes, packaging, or inspection.
  • Assist supervisors in motivating team members to meet production standards and help solve work problems.
  • Help supervision ensure quality, inventory accuracy, employee morale, safety, and production efficiencies.
  • This position is responsible for all training aspects for team members and new employees while ensuring processes are understood and followed.
  • Assist supervisor with performance strategies through effective communication and documentation of production processes.
  • This is a working Lead position that is responsible for delegation of work to meet production requirements and perform similar duties as those in the group.
  • Inspect machines, equipment, incoming materials and completed work.
  • Confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities between departments and facility locations.
  • Ensure adequate training of employees and maintenance of equipment.
  • Monitors work and adjust work assignments, supply of material and machine operations when necessary.
  • Provides input to supervision on the work effort and the appraisal of personnel.
  • This role may be required to have some supervisory administrative and managerial duties in the absence of the department supervisor.
