About The Position

Our Powder Coating Associates positions are structured in two skill-based tiers, with starting pay determined by your qualifications and experience. Powder Coating Associates have the opportunity to advance to the next tier by developing the required skills, demonstrating proficiency, and meeting the qualifications outlined for that level. This opportunity is available on day shift: 6am-2:30pm, M-F.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Familiar with hand tools and power tools
• Basic computer skills
• Organizational and prioritization skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift heavy objects (75-100+ lbs.) and perform various physical tasks such as bending, stooping, sitting, walking, twisting, and standing regularly
• Good dexterity to operate hand tools and paint sprayers
• Normal vision with or without corrective lenses
• Comfortable working in a shop environment with exposure to various conditions, including loud noise and hot temperatures
• Conduct yourself in a professional, safe, and businesslike manner while maintaining a positive, collaborative attitude
• Can make the daily commute to Chanhassen, MN and maintain good attendance
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, full panel drug screening, and physical work simulation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of necessary training requirements provided by SRC

Nice To Haves

• Forklift and powder coating experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Prep and hang steel parts for production on conveyor rack
• Runs powder coating sprayers and equipment
• Assist in training employees in the work center with current knowledge base
• Mandatory overtime when business conditions require it
• Adherence to the attendance policy
• All other duties as required
