About The Position

This role involves painting and powder coating operations to prepare components for a variety of products. The Powder Coater I will be responsible for unloading parts, applying paint/powder according to specifications, setting up equipment, and ensuring the quality of their work and work area. The position also emphasizes operational excellence, continuous improvement, safety, and meeting production schedules, including overtime.

Requirements

High School or GED
Manufacturing Experience
Must be able to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs throughout shift

Responsibilities

Paints and uses powder operations to properly prepare components that may include sub-assemblies and all other related components to contribute to completion of a variety of products
Unloads parts, part racks, and hooks from the line while visually inspecting completed parts
Applies painting and/or powder process in accordance with product specifications
Sets paint/powder equipment for proper tolerances, color and feed rate
Responsible for work preparation, clean up, and quality assurance of own work and work area
