About The Position

This role involves painting and powder operations to prepare components for a variety of products. The Powder Coater I will unload parts, inspect completed parts, apply paint/powder processes according to specifications, and set paint/powder equipment. Responsibilities also include work preparation, clean-up, quality assurance, and striving for operational excellence through teamwork, continuous improvement, and safety programs. The position requires meeting work schedules and overtime, including weekends.

Requirements

• Ability to maneuver and lift materials above head, required
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work majority of shift standing/walking, required
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, sit, or stand as needed

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED
• Manufacturing experience, a plus

Responsibilities

• Paints and uses powder operations to properly prepare components that may include sub-assemblies and all other related components to contribute to completion of a variety of products
• Unloads parts, part racks, and hooks from the line while visually inspecting completed parts
• Applies painting and/or powder process in accordance with product specifications
• Sets paint/powder equipment for proper tolerances, color, and feed rate
• Responsible for work preparation, clean up, and quality assurance of own work and work area
