About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coat Painter to join our production team. In this role, you will prep, hang, and coat a variety of metal parts and products to exact specifications, ensuring a flawless, durable finish that meets our high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in industrial powder coating or liquid painting.
• Strong understanding of electrostatic application, mil thickness gauges, and curing processes.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in environments with varying temperatures.
• Excellent eye for color matching and identifying surface imperfections.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sand, mask, and plug parts to ensure proper powder adhesion.
• Set up, operate, and maintain spray guns, powder hoppers, and ovens.
• Apply uniform coats of powder paint to products while minimizing waste and preventing defects (runs, sags, or thin spots).
• Inspect finished parts for color accuracy, mil thickness, and overall surface quality.
• Monitor curing oven temperatures and conveyor speeds to ensure proper baking times.
• Clean spray booths, guns, and hooks regularly to prevent color contamination and ensure optimal operation.
