About The Position

Bachoco USA is seeking a Poultry Weighing Technician for our Fort Smith, AR location. This role involves traveling to contract poultry farms to weigh poultry and collect additional data as directed by a supervisor. The technician will be responsible for weighing poultry to determine weight, collecting feed inventory and flock mortality data, delivering supplies to contract farms, and assisting service technicians as needed. This position requires daily work and occasional weekend availability.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Ability to perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or bend over.
Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; talk or hear and taste or smell.
Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perception.
Must not be afraid of heights.
