About The Position

The Poultry Vaccination Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of poultry vaccinations, biosecurity, safety, and personnel management. This position requires a high level of commitment, flexibility, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment. The Poultry Vaccination Supervisor has the accountability of all aspects of poultry vaccinations, and will champion biosecurity, and safety. This position must have the ability to embrace flexibility and be available to respond to operational emergencies.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in poultry farming or animal health, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
In-depth knowledge of poultry vaccination procedures and disease prevention.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work in physically demanding environments.
Good record-keeping and reporting abilities.
Familiarity with biosecurity and health & safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and supervise all poultry vaccination activities according to company protocols and veterinary recommendations.
Ensure the correct handling, dosage, and administration of vaccines (e.g., via spray, injection, eye-drop, or drinking water).
Lead and manage vaccination crew(s), including training staff on proper techniques and safety procedures.
Schedule and allocate workforce for daily vaccination activities.
Enforce strict biosecurity measures during all vaccination operations.
Ensure all equipment and tools are sanitized and maintained.
Maintain accurate records of vaccination schedules, vaccine types, batch numbers, bird counts, and outcomes.
Submit reports to management and veterinary teams.
Monitor vaccine stock levels and coordinate timely ordering and delivery.
Ensure cold chain management for vaccine storage and transport.
Assist veterinary teams in monitoring bird health before and after vaccinations.
Report any signs of adverse reactions or unusual mortality.
