About The Position

The Poultry Vaccination Foreman will be responsible for overseeing vaccination and pullet move procedures, managing a crew with high efficiency and quality standards, and ensuring the biosecurity of farms and equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach, the ability to work flexible hours, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Experience in vaccinations and pullet moves
• Good organizer with the ability to work and communicate well with others
• Must be able to prepare work schedules and able to adjust to sudden changes in organizing work loads
• Must be able to work flexible hours and be on call 24 hours/7 days a week.
• Must be able to handle vaccine in transport as well as in the chicken houses.
• Must be able to complete schedules and service reports.
• Must be able to repair vaccination equipment, injection guns, water-vac pumps, etc.
• Must be able to do blood monitoring and rodent inspections involving baiting and checking traps.

• Properly handle vaccine in transport as well as in the chicken houses.
• Ensure the biosecurity of farms, equipment, area buildings, vehicles, etc.
• Complete schedules and service reports.
• Repair vaccination equipment, injection guns, water-vac pumps, etc.
• Perform blood monitoring and rodent inspections involving baiting and checking traps.
• Prioritize the health and safety of employees.
