About The Position

This position involves operating overhead or mobile cranes, working in various climate conditions, and driving company trucks to safely back trailers. The role requires collaboration with other drivers and management to coordinate the daily processing schedule, removing materials from incoming loads, and washing/sanitizing trailers. Additional duties may be assigned to support operational efficiency. Attendance and work actions are considered important factors for this role.

Requirements

Successful completion of 4 required JJ Keller training modules: Basic Controls, Coupling & Uncoupling, Backing & Docking, Walk-Around Inspection
Achieve a minimum passing score of 95% on training modules
Completion of hands-on equipment training with authorized trainer
Successful completion of a behavioral driving assessment after training
No performance work actions in the last 6 months
No attendance work actions in the last 12 months - Three days or less in the last 12 months
Must be 18 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

Experience operating shag trucks, yard trucks, or similar equipment.
Strong understanding of safety, sanitation, and load-handling procedures

Responsibilities

Operate overhead or mobile cranes safely and efficiently to unload materials prior to the start of each shift
Work in various climate conditions (cold, heat, wind, rain, etc.)
Lift up to 50 lbs. and use a dolly to raise and lower trailers as required
Collaborate with other drivers and management to coordinate the daily processing schedule
Remove rods, panels, and other materials from incoming loads
Wash trailers and sanitize empty trailer beds following company safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist crane operators throughout the shift with loading, unloading, and positioning materials
Drive company trucks and safely back trailers into designated areas
Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational efficiency
Work actions and attendance to be weighed factors in this process
Work independently and with others
Good attendance- (attendance record will be reviewed)
