About The Position

This role involves performing various tasks related to the care and transport of Cobb products/facilities. The position requires adherence to strict biosecurity, animal welfare, and safety protocols. The work environment can be challenging, involving wet, slippery, hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold conditions. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required for safety. This is a 1st shift position.

Requirements

Applicants must have no disciplinary actions within the last 6 months, a point level <= 6 attendance points and 6 months in current area unless the TM is promoting, then less than 6 months in current area is allowable.
Must use safe lifting techniques.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and may be required to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds at times.
Regularly required to stand majority of shift (concrete floor); walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus.
Required to work on wet, slippery surfaces and in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments.
NIOSH approved N95 particulate respirators will be worn as needed.
Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.).
Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines.
TM is expected to follow all applicable safety policies and procedures.
TM is expected to identify, address, and mitigate safety related risks.

Responsibilities

Performs live hauls, vaccination, blood pull, movement, sorting, and clean out of all Cobb products/facilities.
Loads Cobb products into modules and on to the truck for transport to designated farms, other Cobb complexes and/or processing plant.
Cleans and disinfects poultry houses, vehicles, modules, and equipment.
Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Sell dates and maintains a clean and organized work area.
