About The Position
This role is for a Postgres Consultant with a duration of 6+ months, located in Milpitas, CA. The consultant will be responsible for infrastructure orchestration, data clustering, and configuration management.
Requirements
- US citizenship is required.
- Experience with Infrastructure orchestration as code (IaaS) such as Terraform in AWS env
- Previous experience with data clustering across data centers
- Previous experience developing or implementing configuration management with Ansible.
- Experience with Postgres.
Nice To Haves
- Basic networking skills and familiarity with Unix/Linux systems including CLI used in checking component status and logs.
- Experience in one or more development languages of Python, Ruby, Java, or Go
- Experience with open source technologies such as Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Postgres, and RabbitMQ
- Oral and written communication skills, comfortable communicating with groups of people when needed
Responsibilities
- Develop or implement configuration management with Ansible.
- Work with data clustering across data centers.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaaS) such as Terraform in an AWS environment.
