About The Position

This role involves assisting with the setup, operation, and maintenance of machines to ensure efficient and high-quality production. The assistant will be responsible for machine calibration, cleaning, changeovers, and monitoring machine settings. They will also perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, maintain logs, and ensure the machine operates at full capacity. Participation in daily meetings, adherence to safety procedures, and maintaining a clean work area are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

• Ability to set up machines (calibration, cleaning, change overs, etc.).
• Ability to control and adjust machine settings.
• Ability to inspect with precision and measuring tools.
• Ability to test operation of machine periodically.
• Ability to fix issues that might occur during the shift.
• Ability to maintain activity log.
• Ability to ensure machine is working at full capacity and producing quality product.
• Ability to complete standard work and quality checks.
• Ability to perform visual check on quality.
• Ability to complete process control sheet.
• Ability to complete 5s checklist.
• Ability to participate in daily production meeting.
• Ability to keep work area clean and organized.
• Ability to work individually or with team members as assigned.
• Ability to observe safety policies and procedures, including use of required PPE.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and positive work environment.
