About The Position
This is a grant-funded position funded until July 31, 2029, with potential for extension pending funding availability. The Postdoctoral Scholar will be responsible for the design, synthesis, and optimization of small-molecule compounds targeting Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary research teams to advance drug discovery efforts, including planning and executing synthetic strategies, analyzing structure-activity relationships, and supporting the biological evaluation of compounds to improve efficacy and safety profiles.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field
- Experience in small-molecule compound design and synthesis
- Proficiency in planning and executing synthetic strategies
- Ability to analyze structure–activity relationships
- Experience supporting biological evaluation of compounds
