The Center for Expanding Viewpoints in Higher Education (CEVIHE) at Tufts University is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow whose research and teaching focus on an emerging or underexplored area within the humanities. This role is designed for scholars whose work engages with significant and contentious political, cultural, or moral questions, illuminating difficult or contested debates in intellectual life and public culture. Relevant research areas include the intellectual history of controversial movements, philosophical or theological arguments about authority and dissent, literary or cultural engagements with moral conflict, and the conditions shaping the influence and marginalization of ideas. Applicants from disciplines such as philosophy, history, religious studies, literature, and political theory are encouraged to apply. The fellowship aims to cultivate early-career scholars who broaden the range of ideas within their disciplines and strengthen Tufts' commitment to open inquiry and engagement across differences.
