About The Position

The Department of Mathematics is seeking applications for one or more non-tenure-track postdoctoral researcher positions beginning in the Fall semester of 2027. The Postdoctoral Researcher conducts research in mathematics of a nature and quality leading to the publication of papers in research journals or advanced-level books; maintains expertise in the field; teaches mathematics at all university levels in a manner consistent with departmental policy; and participates in other educational and professional activities of the department and university.

Requirements

• A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in the mathematical sciences or a closely related field
• ABD candidates will be considered provided that the degree is conferred by August 15, 2027
• Valid U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and maintain that valid work authorization throughout employment
