Our laboratory investigates how cells coordinate stress responses across different organelles and how lipid signaling contributes to proteostasis and healthy aging. Using a combination of C. elegans genetics and mammalian cell models (including hiPSC-derived cells), we study fundamental mechanisms of aging and age-related diseases. This postdoctoral position offers early-career researchers the chance to gain valuable experience, develop independent research skills, learn cutting-edge techniques, and contribute to advancing scientific knowledge in their area of expertise. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in C. elegans genetics and molecular biology. Most importantly, we seek individuals who are enthusiastic about addressing fundamental questions in aging biology and eager to develop interdisciplinary approaches. Recent Ph.D. graduates and candidates nearing completion of their doctoral studies are encouraged to apply.
