About The Position

We are seeking motivated postdoctoral fellows with a track record of productivity and strong interest in cancer metabolism and immunometabolism. Applicants should have a recent doctoral degree (PhD, MD, or combined degrees), with a general background in molecular and cell biology, biochemistry, and genetics. A Postdoctoral Research Fellow position is available to study molecular regulation of nucleotide metabolism across diverse human pathophysiological contexts. As a part of the newly established St. Jude Center for Pharmacogenomics, our laboratory aims to uncover fundamental mechanisms governing metabolic reprogramming and translate these discoveries into therapeutic strategies for human disease. We employ multidisciplinary approaches, including CRISPR-based functional genomics, stable isotope tracing, metabolomics, molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, and mouse models to investigate how nucleotide metabolism influences disease progression and treatment response. Our laboratory is committed to creating a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative environment where trainees can thrive scientifically and professionally. Postdoctoral fellows will receive individualized mentorship, opportunities to develop independent research programs, and strong support for career advancement in academia.
