Postdoctoral research positions are available in Dr. Hongbo Chi’s laboratory in the Department of Immunology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The Chi lab studies immunobiology, immunometabolism, and cancer immunology, focusing on how metabolism regulates the immune system and the therapeutic implications for cancer and other diseases. Research topics include metabolic programs such as amino acid and lipid metabolism, signaling pathways such as mTOR and nutrient signaling, and systems-level regulatory networks governing T-cell and dendritic-cell biology and antitumor immunity. The lab integrates immunological and genetic approaches with systems immunology and functional genomics tools, including in vivo CRISPR screening, single-cell transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and network reconstruction. St. Jude offers postdoctoral fellows a research and training environment with state-of-the-art facilities, competitive salaries, and benefits.
