About The Position
The Electrical Engineering Department in the College of Engineering, at the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate, Academic Professional Track status. In accordance with USCIS regulations, successful applicants must be legally able to accept work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Research background in Power Electronics, Microgrids, and/or Power Systems.
- Experience in Control Systems and/or Optimization Theory.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop validation.
- Published in peer-reviewed scientific venues.
Responsibilities
- Conducts research under Dr. Davoudi’s supervision and participate in various aspects of assigned research activities as needed, e.g., prepare research presentations and/or scholarly manuscripts, throughout the research process.
