About The Position
The Postdoctoral Research Associate conducts independent, supervisor-assigned research and demonstrates expertise in developmental sciences and data analytics. The role includes preparing scientific proposals, reports, and journal manuscripts in collaboration with the supervisor. The Research Associate also trains students and other lab or field personnel in research procedures. This is a temporary position through 09/2026.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in a discipline related to Developmental Sciences or Educational Psychology.
- No prior experience required.
- Experience and demonstrated ability to publish peer-refereed scientific articles.
- Ability to independently conduct data analysis using statistical methods, such as multiple regression and structural equation and multilevel modeling.
- Attention to detail.
- Familiarity with using data-analytic software, such as SPSS, R, MPlus, etc.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of related experience in conducting independent and/or grant-funded research.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and/or co-authors scientific proposals, reports, and journal manuscripts in collaboration with the supervisor.
- Assists in planning and coordinating research projects.
- Independently conduct data analysis using statistical methods, such as multiple regression and structural equation and multilevel modeling.
- Evaluates and summarizes research results.
- Trains and mentors undergraduate and/or graduate students in the supervisor’s research group.
