The Department of Pediatrics is seeking candidates for the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate I in the research laboratory of Emmanuel Katsanis, MD to pursue studies in transplant and tumor immunology. The successful candidate will join a team working in a research field with promising clinical application. The scope of research involves murine bone marrow and peripheral blood stem cell transplantation and tumor models. Studies may also include use of human cells and humanized NSG mouse models. Ongoing research includes novel approaches in activating anti-tumor responses, strategies to alter immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, immunomodulation in murine BMT models, and donor graft manipulation and pharmacological interventions.
