This postdoctoral fellowship focuses on neuromodulation therapies for neurological and psychiatric disorders. The research aims to understand the mechanisms of these therapies, such as Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), and Low-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (LIFU), by characterizing multimodal network features. The project will involve identifying neuromodulation targets based on network dysfunction, tracking brain remodeling, precisely locating targets, and predicting long-term clinical outcomes. The role involves advanced multimodal neuroimaging, image preprocessing, image-guided neuromodulation targeting, and collaboration with clinicians for research support and decision-making. Machine learning approaches will be utilized to characterize biomarkers and predict targets, circuits, and outcomes.
