Join the forefront of groundbreaking research at City of Hope, where we're changing lives and making a real difference in the fight against cancer, diabetes, and other life-threatening illnesses. Our dedicated and compassionate faculty and staff are driven by a common mission: Contribute to innovative approaches in predicting, preventing, and curing diseases, shaping the future of medicine through cutting-edge research. The laboratories of Dr. Le Xuan Truong Nguyen in the Department of Hematological Malignancies and Translational Sciences are seeking highly motivated and innovative Postdoctoral Fellow. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team and lead projects that culminate in publications in high-impact journals. Our research focuses on drug development, uncovering basic mechanisms, and identifying novel therapeutic targets in leukemogenesis and solid tumors. Specifically, we study genetic and epigenetic biomarkers with prognostic value in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and other solid cancers. Our work emphasizes therapeutic candidates targeting mitochondrial vulnerabilities, including nucleoside analogs, small GTPase inhibitors, natural plant extracts, and immunotherapies.
