The Department of Cell Biology at Duke University School of Medicine is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to join the lab of Debby Silver. The Silver lab investigates mechanisms by which the brain is assembled during embryonic development, how this is disrupted in neurodevelopmental disease, and how it is co-opted during brain evolution. The lab employs a multifaceted strategy to bridge developmental neurobiology, RNA biology, and evolution. The successful candidate will conduct independent research activities under the guidance of a faculty mentor in preparation for a full-time academic or research career.
