The Cancer Rehabilitation (CaRe) Lab at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA has an opening for a postdoctoral fellow to work on an NIH-funded randomized controlled trial (RCT) involving breast cancer survivors. The fellow will work closely with the lab director, Kathleen Lyons, ScD, OTR/L and several co-investigators, both within Massachusetts General Hospital and nationally. The research portfolio of the CaRe Lab is focused on ways to reduce disability and maximize functioning and well-being of people living with and/or recovering from cancer. The candidate will be encouraged to a) serve as the project manager for the current RCT, designing systems, supervising staff, and participating in recruitment and intervention delivery as needed and b) seek out productive relationships with area researchers and collaborators in order to build his/her/their own line of research within the lab. The fellow’s individualized development plan will guide highly individualized mentorship and professional development support from Dr. Lyons and colleagues.
