About The Position

Pharmasave #406 is looking for a part-time Postal Clerk to join our team in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. This role involves a variety of tasks related to mail processing and customer service within a community pharmacy setting. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends, and operates within a network of over 300 community pharmacies across Canada, known for providing outstanding patient care and accessible healthcare.

Requirements

Accurate cash handling skills with strong computer and POS proficiency
Clear, courteous communication skills with the ability to manage conflict and solve problems effectively
Strong multitasking abilities to serve multiple customers in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Professional demeanour, including appropriate grooming and wearing a name tag
Physically capable of standing for long periods and performing tasks such as lifting and bending throughout the shift
Criminal Record Check required

Nice To Haves

Previous Post Office experience would be an asset.
Previous customer service or cashiering experience preferred; retail and merchandising experience considered an asset

Responsibilities

Sort and batch incoming and outgoing mail accurately and on time
Assist customers with mail-related inquiries and services
Verify address accuracy, postage, and packaging requirements
Process transactions such as selling stamps, receiving letters, and handling MoneyGram services
Weigh and calculate postage for letters and parcels; affix the correct postage
Operate computer systems for data entry and transaction processing
Perform physical tasks, including bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying as needed
Support the Front Store Manager and Store Operator with additional tasks as required
