About The Position

Graver Technologies LLC, a part of the global industrial organization Marmon Holdings (backed by Berkshire Hathaway), is seeking a Post-Weld Operator. This role is responsible for the final assembly and inspection of welded vessels, ensuring they meet or exceed required specifications and delivery timelines. The operator will perform post-weld treatment, including sandblasting, hydroblasting, and painting/powder coating as needed. This position offers a compensation of $20-24/hour with working hours from Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm.

Requirements

High school graduation or equivalent
Ability to read, write and interpret general documents such as work instructions, manuals and job packages.
Ability to work with computers and computer controlled equipment
Ability to communicate in verbal and written form to supervisor on questions specific to processes and manufacturing status.
Ability to accurately read a measuring tape and do basic math calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and divide.
Self-motivated and maintains high level of attendance.
Ability to lift on average 50lbs of weight and move about 20ft.
Ability to regularly grasp, pull and push product using material handling equipment (pallet jack).
Ability to stand the entire shift.
Availability to work overtime as required (both during the week and on weekends).

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in manufacturing set-up preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform standard tasks to set up manufacturing equipment, perform final assembly tasks and inspections on welded vessels.
Perform minor preventive maintenance on equipment as designated.
Maintain records on equipment operations.
Communicate regularly with team members and management regarding concerns, discrepancies and continuous improvement efforts/ideas.
Follow Graver work safety requirements and work safely in general all the time.
Maintain clean and organized work area.
