About The Position

As a cyber strategic planning and policy development specialist on our team, you’ll lead the assessment of DoW CIOs current cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risks. You’ll evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, you’ll advance the development of a strategic cyber roadmap. You’ll work to ensure the client operates securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment. Work with us as we secure the Department of War's networks through strategic cyber policy development.

Requirements

Experience with team leadership, including tracking, coordinating, and communicating tasks and due dates on delivery schedule
Experience integrating activities across organizations, compiling supporting data, producing final reports and memoranda, and providing developmental support to client and stakeholders
Experience with an enterprise task management system
Experience supporting and communicating with senior leaders
Experience developing briefings, talking points, and presentations for clients
Knowledge of the Department of War and its components
Knowledge of cybersecurity policies and principles
Ability to balance multiple workstreams and work collaboratively across teams
TS/SCI clearance
Master’s degree and 12+ years of experience in a professional work environment, or 18+ years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a degree

Nice To Haves

Experience in the DoW CIO, OSW, or a Military Command
Experience with Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS)
Knowledge of Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC)
Possession of excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills
