Post-Op Registered Nurse RN - ECB (as needed) Days
About The Position
This position is for an as-needed Registered Nurse (RN) working in the Post-Op unit during the day. The role is for an ECB (as needed) employee, meaning no weekends, holidays, or call are required. This position does not qualify for benefits. ECB employees must work a minimum of 24 hours per month, with the option to work more. Initial orientation may require part-time or full-time hours. The registered nurse in this safety-sensitive position delivers personalized, comprehensive care to patients using the nursing process, integrating therapeutic self-use, innovative technology, and collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include providing leadership to non-licensed staff by prescribing, delegating, and coordinating medical-surgical nursing care to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Current Oklahoma or multistate RN license required upon hire.
- BLS required upon hire.
- ACLS required within 60 days of hire.
- Must be knowledgeable and demonstrate competency in current nursing practices that are unit/age specific.
Nice To Haves
- One year of previous applicable RN experience preferred.
