Responsibilities

  • Offer superior quality and efficient customer service at the postal counter.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and proper cash handling.
  • Provide efficient and superior quality customer service.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints related to postal services.
  • Adhere to the customer service program (SERVE) prescribed by Canada Post.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the postal counter and maintain an appropriate image in accordance with the uniform policy and dress code guidelines (e.g., neat appearance, approved uniform, personalized badge).
  • Ability to sell and recommend additional postal services and promotions to all customers.
  • Ensure loss prevention systems and procedures are executed in accordance with guidelines.
  • Manage cash, money orders, and stamp inventory in accordance with prescribed cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the security of cash and mail.
  • Maintain and control stamp inventory, money orders, registered mail, etc., in accordance with Shoppers Drug Mart/Pharmaprix and Canada Post policies and procedures.
  • Manage the department's cash register in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations.
  • Adhere to all store policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to loss prevention policies and procedures and ensure their execution in the department.
  • Perform other duties as required, including cash register duties.
