About The Position

The Post-Harvest Technician provides the daily care and focused attention necessary to process our high quality cannabis. The successful candidate will possess a keen attention to detail utilized for record keeping, and a willingness to continuously learn more about relevant subject matter. The entry-level position offers the opportunity to learn and grow with the company from the ground up.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in horticulture, botany, or related field, preferred.
• Work history showing progressive responsibility and willingness to accept additional projects or challenges.
• Experience with a commercial cannabis, agricultural, or landscaping facility/company preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Employees must be able to see, hear, and communicate basic operational and safety instructions.
• Employees will be required to use hands, fingers, and arms to grasp, pull, twist, reach, and push as needed to operate basic tools.
• They will also need to use legs and feet to be able to climb and crouch as needed.
• Full body will be used to lift nutrients, push carts, stack pallets, and other heavy lifting needs.

Responsibilities

• Assists in harvesting, processing, tracking, and storing cannabis plants
• Maintains accurate records of daily production and communicates those records to management
• Maintains quality control measures to ensure a high-quality product
• Work as a member of a fast-paced team environment to help the team meet group goals
• Handle product according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and good manufacturing practices (GMP)
