About The Position

Ethos Cannabis is a multi-state cannabis company with operations in cultivation, processing, and dispensing in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Ohio. Our goal is to help individuals feel and live better through their experiences with cannabis, supported by our relationship with Jefferson Health. The Post-Harvest Manager is responsible for leading all functions related to the downstream production of cannabis flower products. This role is the group leader for post-harvest operations and organization within our production facility, ensuring no delay in the production cycle, maintaining optimal drying atmospheres, and preventing contamination and waste.

Requirements

  • High diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in cannabis post-harvest operations
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
  • 3-5 years in leadership/management position
  • Previous experience with Cannabis Seed-to-sale software
  • MS Office Suite
  • Must pass stringent background test requirements of state you will be working in
  • Age requirements; MA 21, OH 21 and PA 18
  • Possess valid driver's license or state ID card
  • Authorized to work in the U.S
  • Ability to perform essential job functions for extended periods (8-10 hours per day)
  • Frequent activities may include sitting, walking, bending, climbing ladders, reaching, and frequent use of hands for handling, grasping, and repetitive motions
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 55 pounds over a distance of up to 100 feet
  • You must be 21 or older.

Responsibilities

  • Train and manage all post-harvest technicians on post-harvest duties
  • Harvesting plants
  • Monitoring environment of drying areas and containers
  • Organization of batch specific product
  • Trimming
  • Packaging
  • Quality Control
  • Safe handling of chemicals
  • Follow cGMP and Safety standards
  • Verify and maintain all checklists, logs, and documentation pertaining to harvested and packaged products
  • Schedule and prepare product for 3rd party lab testing
  • Verify all Seed-to-Sale transactions for accuracy
  • Ensure product packaging and labelling is in compliance at all times
  • Follow process and progression of product to protect against diversion
  • Maintain inventory of all consumables and requisition new materials in a timely manner
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations
  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of automated equipment
  • Maintain sanitary conditions that meet SOPs in all post-harvest areas at all times
  • Inspection of work areas, equipment, and uniforms
  • Update and train on standard operating procedures
  • Ensure all green waste is disposed of properly
  • Oversee scheduling, timecards and monitor attendance
  • Facilitate R&D efforts of process improvements
  • Reinforce expectations for a safe and sanitary operation
  • Other duties as designated by Production Operations Manager
