Guard, patrol, or monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. This role involves patrolling industrial or commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates. The Post Guard will respond to alarms, investigate disturbances, and monitor surveillance cameras. They will also be responsible for writing reports of daily activities and irregularities, calling emergency services when necessary, and providing customer service to clients and the public. The role requires the ability to warn persons of rule infractions, apprehend or evict violators, and secure buildings by locking doors and gates. Additionally, Post Guards must follow post orders and respond to medical emergencies by administering basic first aid or obtaining assistance.
