This role is within the Post Fixtures Team at UML to support the Team leader and be responsible for their own claims and outstanding recoveries.

Requirements

• A high level of understanding of Microsoft Office (essential)

Nice To Haves

• Previous Shipping related work experience preferred
• Legal background/related work experience preferred
• experience using IMOS (preferred)
• any other computer software associated with the shipping industry (not essential)

Responsibilities

• Monitoring Vessel schedules, updating voyage estimates and informing the Chartering Team of PnL changes
• Completing Laytime Calculations and raising Invoices
• Compiling documentation required for Post Fixtures claims in line with CP terms
• Issuing Post Fixture claims within Timebar requirements
• Liaising with operations, commercial and legal departments to ensure claims and disputes are negotiated and settled within specified time bars
• Paying broker commissions
• Ensuring all business commitments are adhered to in full compliance with charter party agreements and maintaining confidentiality
