About The Position

This role focuses on providing clinical services within outpatient offices, supervising students and interns, consulting with residents on behavioral health concerns, coordinating telepsychiatry, collaborating with external agencies, and completing formalized assessments for differential diagnosing.

Requirements

Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
Completion of an APA-accredited internship
Eligibility for licensure as a psychologist in the state of practice
Experience in providing clinical care to diverse patient populations
Experience in supervising psychology students and interns
Familiarity with team-based care models
Experience with telepsychiatry or telehealth services
Strong collaboration and consultation skills
Proficiency in completing formalized psychological assessments

Nice To Haves

Postdoctoral fellowship in a relevant specialty (e.g., health psychology, child psychology)
Experience working within a residency program
Knowledge of specific behavioral health concerns common in primary care settings
Bilingual abilities

Responsibilities

Provide a minimum of 50% clinical hours annually across the three residency or other IHMG outpatient offices directly or through supervising psychology students and psychology interns.
Provide appropriate clinical care for patients for whom you are responsible.
Provide consultation to residents who are caring for patients with behavioral health concerns across the three residency outpatient offices.
Coordinate and consult with residents to provide team-based care through the telepsychiatry program.
Collaborate and consult with outside agencies to assist with continuity of care.
Complete formalized assessments to help physicians with differential diagnosing.
