The lab of Dr. Dongjun Chung in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at The Ohio State University is seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Scholar to develop statistical and computational approaches that improve the design and analysis of spatial multi-omics experiments. Projects include methods to determine and localize senescent cells in aging and diseased lungs using single-cell and spatial omics data, as well as methods to improve the design of sequencing- and imaging-based spatial transcriptomics and spatial proteomics experiments. The scholar will work in an interdisciplinary research environment with collaborators in biostatistics, bioinformatics, computational biology, AI, genomics, and immunology. The position offers access to computational infrastructure, multi-omics datasets, and translational collaborations connecting research to clinical impact.
