A Postdoctoral Associate position in Chemistry/Biology is available in the Department of Chemistry. The associate will study DNA damage as part of a research project focused on DNA-Protein Cross-Linking Sequencing for genome-wide mapping of abasic sites at single-nucleotide resolution. Led by Dr. Feng Tang, the project uses sequencing and proteomics techniques to investigate how DNA damage induced by environmental exposure and endogenous metabolism contributes to cancer and aging-related diseases. The position is initially awarded for one year and may be renewed for up to two additional years, contingent on strong performance and conduct and the availability of funds. The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, and includes a full benefits package.
