A Postdoctoral Research Associate is needed for a National Institutes of Health funded research project led by a senior investigator examining basic mechanisms of how redox signaling regulates cell senescence and the senescence associated secretory phenotype in joint tissue cells including articular chondrocytes. The research involves basic cell culture studies for direct analysis of cell senescence and signaling proteins as well as studies in a mouse model of osteoarthritis. The research will be conducted in a vibrant lab that takes a team approach to promote interaction with other postdoctoral research associates, students, and technicians as well as collaborating investigators.
