About The Position

As part of our energetic and talented Shared Services team, this Temporary Full Time position is responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support activities of Customer Experiences and Integrated Operations. The primary focus is revenue processing and donor thank you calls. The Portfolio Support, Revenue drives efficiency and service excellence through collaborating and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of our mission. This position reports to the Director, Customer Experiences and Integrated Operations.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with formulas in MS Excel (Pivot tables, LOOKUP functions, macros, etc.).
  • Thorough, accurate, and have a high attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in data entry and office equipment operating skills including photocopier and adding machine.
  • Organized and able to pivot priorities and answer ad-hoc requests in a timely manner.
  • Operate with a strong customer service focus, both towards the United Way’s external and internal customers.
  • Self-driven, demonstrating accountability, and striving for operational excellence.
  • High school diploma.
  • A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of related experience.
  • Experience entering and balancing large volumes of alpha and numeric data.
  • Align with and integrate our core values throughout all organizational and business practices, and consistently act with personal, professional, and behavioral integrity.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of financial management and donations software.
  • Certificate or diploma in finance or accounting.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing data entry skills to verify information, enter data, and balance records related to processing donations and special events revenue.
  • Makes thank you calls to donors.
  • Tracks inventory of revenue processing envelopes.
  • Support other revenue processing activities as required.
  • Maintains an understanding of and adheres to United Way policies, procedures and standards.
  • Contributes to a positive and safe United Way culture by modeling the values we live by.
  • Performs other job-related duties as required.
