About The Position

Voya Investment Management (IM) is seeking a Portfolio Specialist to support IM’s Fixed Income team. This role is responsible for assisting in the production, marketing and communication of product and investment content used by portfolio managers and client portfolio managers as well as internal and external partners. This position will be located in the Atlanta office.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field with 1-3 years minimum of financial services experience, preferably in asset management or capital markets.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills with a passion for fixed income investing and attention to detail.
• Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to analyze, organize and visualize data to support Voya’s fixed income strategies.
• Deep knowledge of Excel required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage with many individuals throughout the organization.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a high-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

• Fixed income knowledge or experience a plus
• experience with SQL, Power BI, or other databases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing as an advocate and representative of IM’s Fixed Income Investment team, the Fixed Income Product Specialist serves as the first point of contact among internal and external clients.
• Assist Fixed Income Client Portfolio Manager (“CPM”)/Portfolio Specialist team and portfolio managers in gathering and analyzing product and capital markets data, assembling support materials including commentaries, presentation books and various marketing and communication pieces.
• Partnering with marketing and communications to assist in a high-quality investment product content creation and distribution.
• Ongoing project coordination and communications with all parts of the organization including portfolio management, marketing and communications, legal and compliance and IM’s retail and institutional distribution teams.
• Responding to internal and external client inquiries including RFPs, with strict deadlines.
