About The Position

The SDA portfolio Risk and Opportunity Lead is responsible for development and execution of Risk Issue and Opportunity Management (RIOM) across all SDA new business pursuits and contracts, spanning each tranche of Transport and Tracking. This includes responsibility for identification, assessment, handling and control of risks, issues and opportunities, maintaining risk databases and produce status reports. The risk and opportunity manager plans and conducts regular risk and opportunity board meetings for both common and individual programs.

Requirements

Business acumen, with focus on earned value management, cost and schedule integration and financial measures
At least 5 years of experience supporting complex development and/or production spacecraft programs
Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with senior leadership and external customers
Strong Communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field
Must be a US Citizen for consideration due to security clearance requirement.

Nice To Haves

Experience executing risk and opportunity management within 1LMX tools, e.g. ROADs
Cost Account Management (CAM) experience
Experience leading / integrating solutions for geographically disperse teams
Experience managing cross discipline efforts that include design, test, operations and systems engineering scope
