As a Marketing Director at Equifax, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting the marketing strategy for Public Safety government solutions, working to deliver on objectives to build awareness and influence multiple public safety personas, primarily focused on B2G and B2B2G routes to market. You will develop and execute sophisticated marketing strategies that address the unique challenges of personas across the public safety ecosystem. This role requires a blend of capabilities in product positioning, technical product marketing, and tactical B2G marketing program execution.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Marketing, with a focus on Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Content Creation.
• Functional expertise typically gained through a formal degree in Marketing or a related field.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated experience working within a highly matrixed environment, navigating multiple decision-makers across multiple locations
• Experience selling or marketing to government entities, including understanding of government funding mechanisms.
• A track record of taking initiative and using "grit" to deliver results in uncertain or complex environments.
• Well-versed in product marketing planning and execution, taking ownership of new product launch introductions, from positioning and messaging through promotional campaign tactics.
• The ability to organize work independently while ensuring continuous alignment with leadership expectations and overarching business goals.
• Skill in navigating diverse personality types and competing priorities to find mutually agreeable and achievable solutions for complex problems.
• Taking full ownership of tasks and outcomes, with confidence to make decisions as appropriate to level and accountability, acknowledging personal errors without passing blame, and maintaining high professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute customer problem-focused product positioning and messaging that resonates with government buying centers.
• Leverage a deep understanding of topics, trends, and changing needs of law enforcement and public safety government programs and entities to inform innovation, engagement tactics, and content.
• Communicate value propositions and core messages to the sales team and create “sales toolkits”.
• Develop and manage end-to-end product marketing launches and related marketing program plans across multiple channels, tracking effectiveness to ensure KPI transparency and revenue impact.
• Partner with Growth Marketing teams to guide and support delivery of marketing tactics and campaign execution.
• Independently manage complex projects by building exceptional internal relationships and navigating a dynamic workplace with limited oversight.
• Manage & inform research initiatives that deliver insight and value to the Public Safety business.
• Lead delivery of marketing programs across functional marketing teams, tracking performance against established objectives.
