About The Position

Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Manager to provide an interagency Liaison as DoD and Industry Technology Manager and Industry/Small Business Engagement Professional and act as the AF SBIR STTR CRP outreach coordination professional. This role will act as a conduit for the AF SBIR STTR CRP program to reach out to and coordinate with other Agencies and their programs to identify cross-platform technologies that are being planned, proposed or developed and coordinate ways to co-sponsor, co-develop, adopt, spin-off, integrate into Programs-of-Record, and move forward identified technologies to commercialization and ROI. This role will additionally act as a focal point for industry searching for technologies and solutions through SBIRs/STTRs, laboratory engagement and intra/inter Agency agreement.

Requirements

  • Possess active duty military or government Civil Service experience
  • Possess significant (2 years or more) recent (within past 5 years) working level knowledge and experience managing AF or Federal Agency SBIR CRP
  • Possess significant (2 years or more) recent (within the past 5 years) experience working with DoD SBIR STTR Program components, MDCs and SBSA.
  • Possess Secert Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Highly desire DoD experience in either S&T, Acquisition, Sustainment or Test and Defense industry technology insertion.

Responsibilities

  • Functionally, the successful candidate in this role must be familiar with all Agencies and their programs and processes that may overlap with the DoD mission that can be engaged with and leveraged for the WarFighter.
  • This person must be able to design, present, implement and deliver programs and services applicable to the SBIR STTR CRP program.
  • They must be able to move between Military, Government, Laboratory, Technologist, Industry, University and Small Business in the processes of Technology development and transition.
  • This role will be the focal point of all interagency and stakeholder program development, coordination and implementation, which must embrace an ongoing and continually dynamic environment.
  • This position must possess significant social media awareness to promote the SBIR mission. The program has content managed in-house and on social sites, Facebook, Linkedin, and Twitter.
  • Content includes success stories, Broad Agency Announcements, and event registration, along with local, regional, and national events tied to the SBIR program.
