The Portfolio Manager is responsible for the collection and analysis of financial data to determine the creditworthiness of credit requests. This includes reviewing financial statements, tax returns, cash flow projections, risk ratings, and personal financial statements. The role also involves ongoing credit monitoring, completing credit reviews, managing loan maturities, analyzing borrowing base certificates, identifying trends in credit quality, and ensuring compliance with loan covenants. Additionally, the Portfolio Manager coordinates collateral inspections, on-site visits, reviews, and appraisals. They assist in preparing loan packages, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and overseeing timely loan closing and funding. The position also involves servicing customers by promoting the Bank and identifying opportunities to offer additional banking products and services, often in joint calls with assigned Bankers. Other duties include adhering to AML/BSA regulations, performing functions of other department positions as needed, demonstrating respect for co-workers, working collaboratively, adhering to bank policies, understanding governing regulations, and representing the bank at community functions.
